Known for their improvisational mix of classical, hip hop and jazz styles, IMADA brought PROJECT Trio to Ipswich for day-long master classes, in-school concert, and evening concert at the Ipswich Performing Arts Center. The group wowed both students and the community with their virtuosity and upbeat style!

Thank you to our sponsors: The Institution for Savings, EBSCO Publishing, and the Ipswich Inn. With donations collected at the door, IMADA will continue to fund great arts events and materials at the Ipswich Middle & High

IMADA’s 2010 Fall Fundraising Event brought something completely different to the Ipswich Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 25. Mentalist Sidney Friedman entertained by mind reading, performing ESP, and premonition. Known as “mentalist to the starts” Friedman blew the audience away when he performed his “music mind reading” in which audience members thought of a song and Friedman telepathically sensed the melody, and then played it on the piano. A great blend of comedy, telepathy, and loads of fun – the Ipswich audience of all ages gave Friedman a standing ovation and left truly amazed. Friedman has been the featured guest on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s The View and CBS’ The Early Show. The Chicago Tribune describes Friedman as “the master of all things psychic.”

Thanks to the event’s sponsors, the Institution for Savings and Ebsco Publishing, IMADA’s net profit on the evening was $3,900. Part of the proceeds from this event will help to purchase instruments for the music program at the Ipswich Middle and High Schools, and the rest will be put towards IMADA’s other funding efforts. Thank you to all who attended this great night.
