MUSIC ART DRAMA
IMADA

Summer Programs for student artists, musicians and vocalists.

New England Jazz Camp

Led by Tom Palance, this popular program has grown from four to thirty-plus students in its first four years. Students attending this camp enjoy the experience of playing in ensembles, jazz improvisation instruction, ear training, and jazz history. They also have the opportunity to listen to and work with some of the finest musicians in the Boston area. New England Jazz Camp provides a casual and educational atmosphere where students can share their love of jazz music with area musicians who share their enthusiasm.

Originally held only on the Ipswich Middle/High School campus, this year the camp has expanded to a second week at Salem State College. Mr. Palance is very excited to use the Salem State facilities which include a brand new rehearsal space. Students can sign up for one or both of the Ipswich and Salem locations.

NEJC hours are 9am to 1:30pm which includes a short bring-your-own lunch break. The dates are July 5-9 in Ipswich and July 12-16 at Salem State.
